Starting today and on Fanbloomingtastic's sister Tumblr blog Absobloominglutely I'm going to be doing 31 days of Burlesque. I thought about calling it 31 days of the Best of Burlesque but although I'm a complete burlesque nerd/geek, there's new stuff emerging all around the world all the time and I'm sure to get 'shouted' at by someone for my subjective views (plus as you learn during the next 30 days I'm heavily biased towards story-telling and comedic burlesque).
So this is going to be me explaining and showing you why I love burlesque, what it means to me and lots of my favourites (performers, routines, costumes, background, influences etc).

I'll also be sharing lots of the resources and things I've learnt about burlesque since I got into the whole glittery world and hopefully this will help newbies or anyone who's just interested and wants to learn more.
Basically, this is a big lead up to me going to BurlyCon 2011....but I'll tell you more about that sometime during this week.
